Old news!!! But if you missed it 50 Cent look a hot mess as he loose over 50 pounds for his new film!!!!

The internet is currently chatting about how much weight Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson lost for an upcoming film role.

According to reports, the star lost an amazing 54 pounds for his upcoming movie “Things Fall Apart”.

In the movie 50 Cent plays a football player diagnosed with cancer. He dropped from 214 pounds to an astonishing 160 with a liquid diet and three-hour-a-day treadmill walks for nine weeks.

“I was starving.” Now he’s back on tour and says, “I’ve been eating. I’ll be back in shape in no time!”

Wow!

Rampage says he "pitty the fool that told him to do the A-Team movie before his huge fight last night"?? Details Inside

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson isn't distraught about losing to Rashad Evans. He's got eight losses in his career but he sounded torn up by the fact that may not have been at his best for this highly anticipated brawl after a nearly a year of trash talk. Jackson last fought in March of 2009 and was scheduled to face Evans last December but bailed on the fight to play the role of B.A. Baracus in the new A-Team movie. At UFC 114, Jackson looked sluggish at times, tired late and complained of ring rust. He's putting much the blame on his decision to become a Hollywood star.

"I never had any pressure like this in my whole fighting career. Me having this damn movie," Jackson said of the film that opens on June 11. "I kind of almost regret doing the damn movie and stuff now."

Jackson also mentioned something else that may have added extra pressure to win the fight.

"Fox kind of threatened to sue me if I lost cause they didnt know I was fighting," said Jackson. "There was a whole bunch of pressure."

That makes some sense if the makers of the film felt like a Jackson loss would take away from the movie promotion. Now Jackson must immediately switch back to his movie gig and promote the film.

"I'm just so happy for (the fight) to be over with," said Jackson. "I gotta leave tonight to go on tour for this damn movie. I regret I even did the movie. almost."

After a few days to reflect on the last 6-7 months, Jackson may change his tune but the loss definitely raised some concerns moving forward.

"I'm a fighter," said Jackson. "I tried to go into a whole new adventure. I didn't even know about a tour and stuff with movies. I had no idea I had to do this stuff. It was very stressful. I'm just so happy this part is over and when i finish the tour with this movie, I'll be happy with that. I can go home and hang out with my kids and relax at the house."

Jackson, 32 next month, said he has more movie offers on the table.

"I don't know, I gotta make decisions," said Jackson. "'Cause it looks like it'd be hard to do both if you're taking time off and fighting guys like the caliber of guys here in the UFC. People were saying you need a warmup fight before you fight Rashad. There are no warmup fights in the UFC. I gotta think about which one I want to do.

I guess Ron Artest Game winning shot made coach Gentry more than Sick!!!!

Vomitron is engaged and fully operational, captain. Permission to gross everyone out has been granted. Though I will say this is the most ingenious use of a courtside towel since Bill Walker's(notes) terrycloth tinkle from a few years back.

To his credit, Gentry did his best to conceal his illness, telling reporters that he wanted a trash can nearby so that no one would see him vomit. When that didn't work, he was quick with the zings.

When told that cameras had actually captured him throwing up into the trash can along the sideline, Gentry was surprised.

"They did?" he asked. "Oh, well, just tell everyone that it was Kobe Bryant(notes) making me sick."

Gentry said he received an IV at halftime of Game 5 and felt better almost immediately.

"It's very similar to college,'' he joked. "Once you get it out of your system, everything's OK. It's like a Friday night, you know, frat party."

There ya go, recent high school graduates — if you get sick at a college frat party from too much fried artichoke, just get an IV and you should be OK. Excellent advice, if not a little pricey.

Carmelo Anthony is have a reality TV style wedding?? WTH??

I'm not ashamed to admit that I like reality television. Sure, it's stupid and silly and totally not real at all, but it's so much fun to watch people act stupid and silly. I'm down with competition shows, putting-a-bunch-of-people-in-a-house-together shows, and even making-fancy-lady-clothes shows. Basically anything but wedding shows. Those shows are the worst shows.

But I guess I've got to get over my anti-wedding television bias by September, because that's when a series based around Carmelo Anthony's(notes) July nuptials will be broadcast on VH1. That's must-see TV, you guys. From a press release, via Gossip on This:

The series begins with the betrothed couple, Lala and Carmelo, meeting with A-list wedding planner to the stars Mindy Weiss and follows them through all the wedding planning festivities. Viewers will ride along as Lala shops for the perfect designer wedding dress, chooses the wedding venue, picks out the ultimate wedding cake and menu, plans their honeymoon, and contemplates the guest list, all while maintaining her and Carmelo's hectic schedules.

Along the way viewers will also get a glimpse at Lala's celeb-hosted bachelorette party in Las Vegas, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the couple as they gather with their family and friends to prepare for the big day. The series will culminate in a 90-minute lavish celebrity-filled wedding finale in New York that only this superstar couple could host.

Fabulous! And totally worth watching for at least one episode, right? It's going to be hilarious to watch Mr. Stop Snitchin' gets dragged along to food tastings, pick out a tux and all that silliness that goes in to planning a wedding.

Furthermore, there's the very real chance that some of Carmelo's Nuggets teammates will be involved with the wedding, and frankly, I can't think of much funnier than Kenyon Martin(notes) and J.R. Smith(notes) acting like grown-ups. This has great potential.

Kevin Garnett's good luck charm....hmm a jump off?? Details inside

NBA baller Kevin Garnett has a special GOOD LUCK CHARM that's been helping the Celtics win in Orlando - his AHEM . . . gal pal Krissy.

According to a VERY WELL PLACED snitch, Krissy has been FLYING OUT to Orlando to attend the Celtics-Orlando games.

Why is this INTERESTING. Well Krissy used to be a cheerleader with the Minnesota Timberwolves. When Kevin got TRADED to the Celtics, krissy picked up and moved to Boston with him.

And now that he's playing in the playoffs in Orlando, MediaTakeOut.com learned that Krissy is going out to support her "friend." Of course, Kevin's lovely wife Brandi is NOT attending the road games with Kevin.

Well . . . fotta give it to Krissy - she sounds like a VERY SUPPORTIVE JUMPOFF!!!

Crayton Feeling left out???

Patrick CraytonWide receiver Patrick Crayton(notes) had five touchdowns and 622 receiving yards last season for the Dallas Cowboys, but he seems to think the team doesn't want him on its roster in 2010, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The team is supposedly having an open competition for his position at training camp. "If it's a true open competition, I'll be with the Dallas Cowboys in 2010," Crayton told the paper. "If not, and things have already been assigned, then I'll probably be elsewhere."

Crayton hasn't taken part in any of the team's Organized Team Activities yet this offseason, which probably isn't winning him too many fans in the Dallas front office.

That sensation Crayton has may have something to do with the fact that his agent got phone calls from folks around the league during the draft to tell him that his client was being shopped after the team selected Dez Bryant(notes) in the first round, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Cuban: Lebron Could be on his way to the BIG D!!!!

Mark Cuban is no stranger to bold statements, and the Dallas Mavericks owner has expressed his interest in acquiring soon-to-be free agent LeBron James(notes).

The outspoken billionaire, in an interview this week with CNNMoney.com, said “anybody” would be interested in James. Cuban said it would be tough to sign the two-time defending league MVP in free agency, but a sign-and-trade deal with Cleveland is something he would look at.

If James does not reach a deal with the Cavaliers by July 1, he would become an unrestricted free agent.

Cuban’s remarks could fall under the league’s tampering rules. NBA rules state that a “no comment” is the proper response when the media asks about pending free agents before July 1.

Tony Romo Golf game continues to impress but will his game on the football field improve as well?????

We've seen it between baseball and football, and even in the rare case of guys like Antonio Gates, basketball and football, but we never, ever see great athletes do well in golf.

Ever.

I was once told by a great Tucson journalist that trying to qualify for the U.S. Open was like trying to successfully catch lightning in a bottle. For the first time in Tony Romo's life, he might be excited to go up against the Chargers.

Romo shot a 2-under 69 on Thursday at the local qualifying course in Dallas to advance to sectional qualifying for the U.S. Open, the final leg before Pebble Beach. Romo was one of seven golfers to get out of The Honors Club of Dallas still alive in this crazy chase, and the fact that he can do all this while focusing on a whole other sporting career is something we should be talking more about.

See, a couple of weeks ago I was one of those thousands of golfers trying to make it out of local qualifying. It was my second year to try it out, and I failed, as to be expected. My golf game isn't sharp and my career focus is more in Times New Roman, not Titleists and TaylorMade. I try to qualify because it's a fun little thing to do, but going out and posting a 78 isn't going to get me anywhere but slamming a trunk.

While I'm not one of the names people should be impressed by, thousands of mini-tour golfers that play this game for a living fail to make it out of local qualifying. A ton of collegiate golfers, one with whom I played with last Monday, didn't make it another day.

It takes a certain type of golfer, confident in his game, to make it this far.

Romo didn't just get into the sectional qualifier June 7 at The Club at Carlton Woods, just north of Houston, he had to make it out of a playoff in the dark. While there are thousands of playoff jokes to be made at Romo's expense, it should say a lot that he can live up to all this pressure and make it through.

Think about it — of every person trying to make it to Pebble Beach through this route, Romo is probably the most famous, and most followed. The pressure he faces isn't that of checks and made cuts, but every little thing he does on the golf game can be and will be compared to his play on the football field.

Say Romo had lost in that four-man playoff for three spots. Websites like Twitter would have erupted with one-liners about his inability to get out of the first round.

As we've seen with Jerry Rice, being a good golfer and being a competitive golfer are two completely different things. Romo shooting 69 should be something we all praise, even if the shirt we sport has a green Eagle on it (OK, OK, maybe not, but it was worth a try).

Lil' Romeo's underwhelming USC career comes to an end!! He is done son!!!!

In a decision sure to disappoint opposing hecklers far more than USC basketball fans, Percy Miller is packing up his trademark aviator shades and oversized jewelry and leaving the Trojans program.

Miller, best known as rapper Lil' Romeo, will not return for his junior season, according to the Los Angeles Daily News. The 5-foot-11 point guard logged a mere 19 minutes in two years at USC, appearing in just three games last season in part due to a sprained left shoulder.

That Miller was even recruited to USC at all is one of the more bizarre decisions of former coach Tim Floyd's scandal-tainted tenure at the school.

Most believe Miller received a scholarship offer to USC only because his relationship with childhood friend DeMar Derozan helped the Trojans land the future NBA lottery pick. Floyd has always refuted this, but why else would he have recruited an injury-prone 160-pound guard who averaged 8.6 points a game as a senior for tiny Beverly Hills High School.

"It's very rare to give a scholarship to someone who may never play," All-Star Sports recruiting director Bob Gibbons told the Wall Street Journal at the time.

If you want to add a little humor to your Friday workday, take a look at how Floyd described Percy Miller in a press release when the rapper turned point guard signed with the Trojans 2 1/2 years ago.

"He is a very unselfish point guard who plays exceptionally hard," Floyd said. "You can't have enough guys on your team who you think are reliable and dependable and have a tremendous upside. He is going to be playing on one of the better high schools in the area and it is always been important to us to have point guards coming in that know how to win."

That "tremendous upside," as Floyd so amusingly put it, not surprisingly didn't translate into tremendous production on the court.

Let's wish Miller further success, whether at another college or in the entertainment industry. And let's hope USC can find a way to put his scholarship to better use in the future.

****Random Story of the Week******

87-year old woman slanging (keys) of cocaine!!! WTH???

An 87-year-old woman was arrested on felony drug charges today after she sold crack cocaine to an undercover Escambia County deputy.

Ola Mae Agee of the 900 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Pensacola was arrested after the undercover deputy bought a $20 piece of crack from her, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Ted Roy said.

The sale occurred on April 30 at Agee’s home at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Desoto Street, the Sheriff’s Office said.

A Sheriff’s Office surveillance video of the sale shows the undercover officer knock on the back door of Agee’s home. Agee then answers the door and takes the officer to another room where she retrieves the crack from the couch and exchanges it for money.

Sheriff’s investigators anticipate additional drug-related arrests in connection with sale of crack cocaine from Agee’s residence, Roy said. It is believed those additional suspects also sold crack from other houses in Escambia County, Roy said.

Family members took Agee to the Escambia County Jail following her arrest. After Agee was processed, she was released on her own recognizance because of her age, Roy said. Agee had no criminal record prior to her arrest, he said.

I guess chit-lings was not the only thing cooking in the kitchen!!!

WILD WEEKEND RUMORS!!!! Part 2

Kenyon Martin and Trina are official copy cats as they plan wedding same day as teammate Carmelo Anthony and LaLa!!! SMH

If you thought that TV personality LaLa and Carmelo Anthony's wedding was going to be the EVENT OF THE SUMMER . . . hold your horses. According to an EXTREMELY RELIABLE insider, rapper Trina and Carmelo's teammate KENYON MARTIN are planning a ceremony of their own.

The insider told MediaTakeOut.com that Trina and Kenyon will be having what they describe as a "commitment ceremony" this July.

And get this. Word is that the tentative date for the ceremony - July 10th - the SAME date as LaLa and Carmelo's wedding. When we asked the snitch whether they were aware of the DATE CONFLICT - the snitch said, "Mmm Hmm."

DAYUMMMMM . . . Well since we ain't get a wedding invite from Carmeloa and LaLa (it must've got lost in the mail), you know which event WE'RE GONNA BE AT!!!!

Vaccaro: LeBron leaving Cleveland ... for Chicago?

LeBron JamesIt wasn't supposed to be this way. With the addition of Shaquille O'Neal(notes), the Cleveland Cavaliers were supposed to be unstoppable this postseason. LeBron James(notes) was supposed to score the winning basket in Cleveland's championship run and be carried out on the shoulders of his loving city. He was supposed to re-sign in Cleveland with a smile and a flourish.

Things didn't quite work out that way, of course. The Boston Celtics sent LeBron and his teammates packing and now it is unclear if James will re-sign with the team, particularly after the torrent of boos that rained down on him in Cleveland during Game Five. Sonny Vaccaro, the man who signed Michael Jordan to his first sneaker deal and once the biggest name in amateur basketball, has been friends with James and he's saying that LeBron will be splitting town, according to ESPN.

"If he chooses to leave, and I believe he will, he has the pick of the litter of where he can go," said Vaccaro. "In my opinion, the (Chicago) Bulls are the perfect fit."

Vaccaro also mentioned the Los Angeles Clippers as a possible destination.

Sapp: Titans RB Johnson prepared to hold out

Chris JohnsonNFL Network analyst Warren Sapp(notes) talked to Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson recently and the 13-year NFL vet is saying that it's looking very likely that Johnson will hold out beyond training camp if necessary, according to NFL.com.

"There's going to have to be some talking before Chris goes back to Tennessee," Sapp said. "He's prepared to take this through training camp."

Titans Coach Jeff Fisher seems to think Johnson, who ran for 2,006 yards and scored 14 touchdowns last year but will make "only" $550,000 this year, will show up in the near future but it's not looking that way right now.

Westbrook taking his time with decision

Brian WestbrookFormer Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook(notes) has interest from several teams, but he's apparently in no rush to make a decision on where he'll be playing next season, according to the Denver Post.

He met with the Denver Broncos yesterday and has already met with the Washington Redskins and St. Louis Rams. Broncos coach Josh McDaniels told the Post that Westbrook is in "no hurry" to make his choice.

"He's healthy now, and that's a really important part for him and everyone else concerned," said McDaniels to the paper. "So we'll see where it goes."

The Rams are the supposed frontrunner but the team's artificial turf may be a big turn-off for Westbrook, who likely would want to protect his aging knees from that kind of abuse at this stage of his career.

Chargers likely trading Merriman soon?

Shawne MerrimanThe San Diego Chargers supposedly had three different trades set up during NFL Draft weekend -- one with the New Orleans Saints -- that would have sent linebacker Shawne Merriman(notes) packing but the player's agent, Tom Condon, apparently threw in demands for a long-term contract at the end that eventually caused all three deals to collapse, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Now Merriman has switched agents and the rumor is that it should make it a lot easier to move him to another team.

Three-time Pro Bowler Merriman had 36 tackles and four sacks last year. He supposedly wants a long-term deal from San Diego but Chargers General Manager A.J. Smith isn't giving it to him, so he's going to have to go prove himself worthy elsewhere.

Nets want Avery Johnson?

Avery JohnsonNow that the New Jersey Nets are finally officially owned by the second richest man in Russia, Mikhail Prokhorev, things will likely start to happen a little more quickly for the team.

First up is finding a new head coach. And team president Rod Thorn has apparently asked the rep for former Dallas Mavericks head coach Avery Johnson if he would have any interest in coaching the team in New Jersey, according to FanHouse.

Johnson has already interviewed for the same gig with the Philadelphia 76ers and New Orleans Hornets so he's had plenty of practice answering interview questions recently.

The rumor is that Johnson does have some interest and an interview is being scheduled. Thorn supposedly wants a new coach in place before the draft.
